Orazio Vittorio
Dr Orazio Vittorio received his M.Sc. in Biology from the University of Pisa in 2006 where he obtained his Ph.D. in Oncology and New Technologies in Medicine in 2011. After 2 years of postdoctoral research at CNR-Nano he was awarded the Vice-Chancellor's Fellowship from UNSW to conduct his research at Children Cancer Institute of Australia (CCI). From 2015 he is appointed as Project Leader at CCI and conjoint Lecturer at UNSW. Dr. Vittorio has authored over 50 papers and his research focus on the interface between nanotechnology and cancer biology with a particular interest in nano-modified antioxidants as anticancer-therapy.
